From Yelling to Connecting Series for Parents
As parents, we all lose our patients from time to time. We may even yell at our children in heated moments, getting angry and frustrated. I know for myself I could see that my yelling was not helping the situation with my child but I could not always stop myself. Triggered, I yelled then regretted it later. It has taken time and effort to shift out of my own stuck patterns of yelling and move towards responding to my children from a place of calm. I want to help you do the same.
In this meditation series I share how mindfulness can help us understand what is happening inside of us which causes us to get caught in reacting, often followed by regret. By responding to our children from a grounded place, we are able to address whatever is happening with more clarity of mind and less regret.
Enjoy!
